G1 Search is thrilled to be partnering with an established, market leading fit-out contractor to appoint a Quantity Surveyor (NI based).
Our trusted client has a strong reputation across the industry for delivering meticulous, high-quality projects across commercial, hospitality, healthcare, residential, and retail sectors.
Due to the quality of work and customer service, our client enjoys a significant amount of repeat business.
This role offers the opportunity to manage the commercial aspects of projects from tender stage through to completion, working closely with sales, design, and contracts teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing accurate cost plans, including labour and materials, and presenting these within agreed timeframes.
Assisting with tender preparation and responding to tender queries.
Negotiating with suppliers to manage budgets effectively and ensure cost control.
Conducting site visits to oversee progress, liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure final accounts align with forecasts.
Producing detailed cost, value, and reconciliation reports for each project.
Managing post-contract cost variances and implementing change control processes.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Required Experience: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
A proven track record in managing projects across multiple sectors.
Strong commercial acumen with excellent analysis and cost management skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects and work autonomously.
