Quality Manager Reporting to the Group Quality Director the Quality Manager is key to the ability of G&P to deliver and exceed our customers' expectations whilst ensuring compliance to company, industry and legal requirements.
The job holder is responsible for the management and development of the Quality Management Systems (BMS) across all industry sectors within the scope of G&P business upholding Group professional standards.
The Quality Manager will have responsibility for measuring then driving compliance and excellence across all our UK operations.
The candidate will be given the autonomy to plan their own time and site visits but the objective remains that they should be heavily involved in the operations and this will include 16 site visits out of the 22 working days in the month.
The remaining 6 days, you will be able to work from home or HQ.
The Responsibilities of the Quality Manager: The leadership and guidance on the overall development, implementation and management of all industry sector requirements within the Group Business Management System.
Maintenance of the Group Business Management System procedure and process audit programmes, ensuring that all planned activities (audits, reviews, and corrective actions) are completed to plan.
Where there are issues identified the jobholder must ensure the issues are notified to the relevant Group Management with the appropriate requirements on the actions needed to address the root cause and ensure no re-occurrences.
Supporting the Group Quality Operations Manager in developing a lessons learned culture across the Group working to ensure that industry specific best practices are put to good effect across all sectors.
Evolution of the Group Business Management System to meet the developing needs of the Group's Clients and other interested parties.
Ensuring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and other professional accreditations as directed by the G&P Board.
Implementation all subsequent internal, professional and legal updates, ensuring that best practice is incorporated across the business in all manufacturing sectors.
Liaison with the G&P Group Quality Operations Manager and the external accreditation body to ensure all planned activities are carried out.
Providing routine reportage including analysis and recommendations to the Group Quality Director on but not limited to Customer Satisfaction Performance, Process Audits, Internal Audits, Complaints, Training Plans, Credit Note Analysis, and H&S Statistics identifying adverse trends and the actions taken to correct.
Requesting when necessary, the appropriate intervention or support of the Board.
Cooperation with the Group Quality Operations Manager to deliver the effective introduction of the Group BMS and subsequent updates within all existing and new G&P Group countries.
Support continuous improvement activities by developing and conducting the required training or workshops.
To maintain consistency of the Group BMS ensure that all changes Procedures are only approved.
Ensure that all Group and Country Standard Practice changes are approved by the Group Quality Director.
