Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with and help your Scrum team to: Accurately estimate, plan and manage Sprints.
Identify and mitigate risks to software quality.
Define, measure and maintain software quality of the features being delivered.
Prevent flaws being introduced to the application Provide fast and accurate feedback to software engineers when Bugs are detected Maintain automation test frameworks, adding new tests following MHR standards; contribute improvements to existing tests / the framework / test process or standards.
Build deep business domain and technical knowledge of our application Mentor less experienced QAs in Test Automation Essential Skills & Experience (Must haves) Experience using an object-oriented software language Experience using version control tools, branching strategies and following coding standards At least 2 years' experience writing test automation code for UI and/or API Analytical test design for Functionality, Performance, Usability, Reliability, Compatibility, both automated and manual execution Driving quality in an Agile environment through team collaboration e.g.
3 Amigos, Example Mapping Desirable Skills & Experience (Nice to haves) Software Engineering experience e.g.
contributing to feature development in a fungible agile team Designing and/or implementing API test frameworks running pre-deployment / on pipeline agents Playwright with Typescript / Javascript (our current UI framework) 'Driven Design' practices e.g.
