Quality Engineer

We are now looking for a detailed orientated, Quality Engineer to join our growing team!
Key Responsibilities: Perform required inspections of raw materials, componentry and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Carry out RCA investigations to address customer, supplier and internal non-conformances.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct internal audits in accordance with company schedule.
Assist in implementing environmental management systems and initiatives to minimize the company's environmental footprint.
Assist with procedural development to support future Matrix Labs certifications.
Maintain equipment calibration system.
Monitor waste management practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety programs to promote a safe working environment for employees.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.
Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on quality procedures, environmental practices, and health and safety protocols.
Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards related to quality, environmental, and health and safety requirements.
About You: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Qualified internal auditor.
Previous experience in a regulated industry.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply technical information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with quality management systems (QMS) or environmental management systems (EMS) is desirable.
