The role: Monday to Friday £Negotiable salary Weekends off Permanent Employee Benefits: Life insurance Competitive pay rates Generous holidays Discretionary bonus twice a year Youll play a key role in ensuring production operations run smoothly by managing orders, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Order Management: Raise purchase orders for materials and services according to production schedules, ensuring accurate and timely processing Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered in full and on time, working proactively to reduce lead times Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate delivery issues that could impact production schedules Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships Data Management: Manage multiple databases to keep information accurate and transparent for all platform users Interdepartmental Communication: Foster successful communication across departments, building strong relationships in a multi-site environment Cost-Saving Initiatives: Assist in cost-saving projects to support the business's financial objectives Administration: Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing and maintain compliance with company policies Continuous Improvement: Implement ideas that enhance accuracy and efficiency Criteria: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to handle data effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
A methodical approach to problem-solving, with solid mathematical and analytical abilities.
Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Self-motivated with the capacity to prioritise and meet deadlines.
