PROTOTYPER MONDAY - FRIDAY: £40,000 PER ANNUM People Solutions are looking for an experienced Prototyper for our manufacturing client based in Leicester.
Offering an annual salary of £40,000, you will be responsible for creating and testing prototypes of new products, ensuring they meet design specifications and are ready for mass production.
This role requires a hands-on approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to work closely with engineers, designers, and production teams.
Benefits Canteen Onsite parking Permanent position Progression opportunities Day to Day Duties Develop and construct prototypes based on design specifications and requirements Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine designs and resolve any technical issues Utilize a variety of tools, materials, and manufacturing processes to create functional prototypes Perform tests and evaluations on prototypes to ensure they meet quality, durability, and performance standards Document and report on the prototype development process, including any modifications and recommendations Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production Stay updated on the latest manufacturing technologies and materials Essential Skills Have experience of acrylic fabrication and a good understanding of production build techniques Have experience of operating circular saws, CNC's, V Groovers and Lasers Have an understanding and experience of AutoCAD drawings Good attention to detail and a good understanding of quality requirements Have strong communication skills with a positive working attitude Desirable Experience Be organised in your approach to the working day with good time management skills An ability to work with other departments towards a shared goal Be able to work independently and be self-motivated Carry out other departmental duties as required Training Training provided Apply Apply today by clicking below JBRP1_UKTJ
