Job DescriptionAn opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability (NRS) for a Property Liaison Officer to join our Asset Management service on a permanent basis.NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council (GCC) operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services.If you're interested in working within a service that touches on all aspects within the city, please read on.
Position DetailsAs a Property Liaison Officer, you will be the essential link between NRS Asset Management and GCC Services to oversee the maintenance and repairs, including statutory maintenance, of all GCC establishments.You should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and plan ahead, managing competing work priorities and resources for the delivery of projects within specified deadlines.
You require to be able to manage budgets and analyse financial information and understand the principles of Health & Safety and Security Risk analysis and management methodologies.It would be desirable if you were a member of an appropriate professional body and had Health & Safety qualifications such as IOSH / NEBOSH or Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management qualifications or similar.Further details regarding what this role entails are noted within the Role Profile for the post, whilst the Person Specification document confirms the key competencies you are required to demonstrate in your application.An HND in a building or building-services related discipline, or significant verifiable experience of same, and a driving licence are essential requirements for the role.
