The GSK global DMPK organization is looking for a DMPK Project Specialist (Associate Director) to join the Discovery DMPK Project Specialist group, based in either Stevenage, UK, Philadelphia, USA or Boston, USA.
The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of drug discovery across some of the following modalities (e.g.
small molecule, bRo5, antibody, oligonucleotide therapeutics) and a keen interest in developing a translational PKPD strategies on discovery projects.
Working collaboratively with key matrix project team members (i.e.
Project Leader, Biopharm Discovery, DMPK Modelling, Biology Lead etc.
), across different therapeutic areas, you will be responsible for designing and delivering the DMPK strategy to ensure project progression from C2T through to FTIH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide DMPK input into project strategy and DMPK data interpretation for Discovery stage projects, across all modalities and therapeutic areas up to Phase 1 clinical trials.
Efficiently manage your time and project requests and be accountable for DMPK deliverables to ensure effective support of your projects.
Ensure that translational PKPD approaches are at the heart of project strategy and used to design key biology and lead characterization activities aligned with the needs of efficacious human dose prediction.
Implement best practices and share insight across the DMPK specialists group to help drive and embed strategic direction.
Develop and maintain excellent working relations with key matrix partners in Discovery project teams, to ensure strategic alignment and optimal collaboration and communication.
Responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality DMPK contributions to governance documents for the projects you support.
Actively support cross DMPK initiatives as a representative from the project specialists group in order to drive DMPK science and operations within GSK.

Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: MSc or BSc Degree with extensive experience in a field relevant to DMPK (e.g., Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics or Drug Metabolism) PhD with additional years in a field relevant to DMPK (e.g., Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics or Drug Metabolism) Preferred Qualifications and skills: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: PhD in a field relevant to DMPK (e.g., Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics or Drug Metabolism) with additional drug discovery experience Experience of DMPK Project Representation in Discovery with a variety of modalities (e.g.
small molecule, bRo5, antibody, oligonucleotide therapeutics etc.)
Experience in developing translational PKPD strategies and leveraging modeling approaches in Discovery projects for human dose predictions.
Experience, understanding and proven track record of in applying state-of-the-art DMPK concepts in the successful discovery of drug candidates through to FTIH.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and across matrix Project Teams Ability to manage project resources and budgets.
