Job summary Please note that this is a secondment opportunity.The NHS has embarked upon an ambitious digital modernisation strategy with a key objective to enable information to flow between care providers within and beyond organisational boundaries, and between care providers and patients to achieve a safe, convenient and personalised health and care services.
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery and implementation of digital solutions which are fed out from the digital programme initiatives, in line with the WY ICB Digital Strategy and to capture the outcomes and benefits derived from the implementation, reporting these back into the programme and other key stakeholders.
The role will involve engagement with key stakeholders, gaining a thorough understanding of current and future processes as well as mapping these processes for future use.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the national Connecting Care Records Programme across West Yorkshire to meet the national priorities to connect organisations to the shared care record.

The local NHS, councils and partners in WYHCP are working together through a Health and Care Partnership and are looking to recruit a Digital Project Officer to support the delivery of our shared care record vision for the region.
This role will be crucial in supporting the engagement and delivery of a shared care record across our partner organisations.
Job description Job responsibilities Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide excellent project management skills and co-ordination of a broad range of complex activities within multiple projects across a range of partners and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain a mixed portfolio of core project documentation, working to agreed standards in line with project management methodology commensurate with the scope and complexity of the initiatives being supported.
Monitor, record and report progress made within each project/ activity within the work stream ensuring reporting and appropriate escalation of key risks and issues which may impact on project success through the relevant project governance to the Digital Project Manager to determine corrective steps.
Set up and maintain project progress meetings at the required frequency depending on project stage, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining correspondence, distributing papers and tracking actions to maintain progress and momentum.

Qualifications Essential Educated to degree Level or equivalent experience / qualifications Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 foundation or equivalent experience Desirable Evidence of training on the use of project management software Change management training Process redesign training
