Job DescriptionProject Manager - Buildings (Reactive & Project Schemes)Location: Sheffield Salary: £50,000-£57,000k plus package including; - Company Car - Ad hoc Hybrid working - days holiday + Statutory Bank Holidays - Company Sick Pay - Excellent training & development opportunities, - Healthcare options - Company Pension and Death in Service scheme of 2x annual salary SummaryA Tier One Principal Contractor, operating throughout England and Wales, delivering multi-disciplinary buildings and civil engineering projects for Network Rail and other infrastructure clients is looking for a Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of works on the Eastern framework, liaise with clients and represent the business at client deliverability meetings.
The main duties of the role include:Managing Network Rail (client) and rail related infrastructure contracts, ensuring stringent KPIs are metLiaising with the Programming team, ensuring the work bank is planned and resourced effectivelyLiaising with Works Delivery Managers and Commercial teams to review estimate submissions and final account details - analysing trends and reporting on buildings reactive and project performancePreparing and implementing Site specific management plans to ensure Site activities comply with CML Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental PoliciesProviding technical support, guidance and practical advice to your team on the Eastern Buildings Framework, ensuring competent execution of reactive, including emergency call outs works portfolio from both a permanent work and temporary works perspectiveSeeking candidates with The perfect candidate will have:HND or higher/ NVQ 6-7 in Construction or APM qualification, or be suitably qualified by experienceA minimum of 5 years' experience of managing reactive Buildings and Civils Works Delivery FrameworksPTS (Personal Track Safety)Experience in managing multiple projects work sites, preferably from within a Rail environmentCommercial and Programming experienceSafety Critical management and planning including incident/ accident reporting experienceCost monitoring and Report writing experienceExperience of creating work package plans, risk assessments and lift plansSound technical knowledge of a multitude of Civils activitiesExperience in managing multiple reactive maintenance and project schemes within a rail-based buildings environmentStrong people and stakeholder management experienceCSCS card, NEBOSH, COSS, SMSTS are highly desirableThe ability to actively promote Safety Critical behaviours, CML values and a customer focussed, professional attitude across the businessFor more information or to apply please get in touch.
