Project Manager Aspiring Contracts Manager - Specialist Contractor | Bedfordshire Up to £65,000 plus Mileage Allowance & Pension This highly successful Specialist Contractor offers a full turnkey service to a demanding client base acting as the principal contractor, they supply & fit their specialist products, operating mainly in the fast-track commercial fit out sector.
Project values range typically between £100,000 and £1m in value.
Due to the expansion of their business and increased demand for their product range, a new appointment has been created.
You will work closely with the commercial and design teams.
Managing projects commercially and operationally from inception through to completion, ensuring deadlines are met or exceeded.
The role will be split between our clients offices and projects across the Home Counties and London.
A minimum of 3 years, working in a project or contracts management capacity in the UK is essential, either ex-trades, progressing to site/project management or a contracts manager in an allied contracting business.
Applicants must understand the basic building principles and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and project programs.
This role would suit someone living within a short commute of Dunstable.
Travel to sites to meet clients or contractors will be required, so a full UK driving licence and the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
