The role As a Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the mobilisation and delivery of programmes of work, acting as the bridge between sales, operations, and clients.
You will ensure that agreed timescales, processes, and quality standards are consistently met, with the possibility of additional technical responsibilities in surveying, air monitoring, or project management. Requirements Your Responsibilities Will Include: Collaborate with Operations Managers to successfully manage contracts and ensure optimal service delivery Liaise with operational support teams and client contacts for efficient planning, scheduling, and report dispatch Manage field teams and laboratory resources to optimise utilisation and maintain high service standards Support resource recruitment and deployment to maximise staff utilisation rates Handle business-as-usual tasks, including payroll, invoicing, line management, and appraisal Work closely with the Quality Manager to uphold UKAS accreditation standards and drive continuous quality improvement Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring KPIs are met Investigate and resolve client complaints proactively What We're Looking For: Minimum of 5 years' experience in the asbestos field Comprehensive understanding of asbestos legislation and industry best practices Proven ability to manage programmes and stakeholders effectively Strong leadership skills to coach and develop team members BOHS P402, P403, P404 and P405 or RSPH desirable but not essential Strong financial acumen for managing project budgets.
