Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire Are you a natural leader with a passion for packaging and production?

Why This Role is Important: As a Packaging Production Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind our Packaging team, making sure that every day runs like clockwork.
From meeting daily production targets to embedding lean manufacturing techniques, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do: Lead the Way : Manage and motivate the Packaging team to hit those all-important hourly, daily, and weekly targets.
Safety First: Role model and enforce health and safety best practices, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone.
Develop Your Team: Identify training needs, plan and deliver training sessions to help your team excel.
Food Safety Guru: Make sure all food safety standards are followed to keep us in line with certifications and best practices.
Keep Things Tidy: Ensure the highest housekeeping standards across the department - a clean area is a safe and efficient area!
Plan and Execute: Get involved in the production planning process, ensuring everything runs to schedule and production targets are met.
Quality Control: Oversee the quality of every product leaving the site - ensuring it meets the top-notch standards KPI Reporting: Keep track of performance through data input and ensure goals are being met.
Problem Solving: Use lean tools and your problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous efficiency.
Skills & Experience People Person: You know how to lead and motivate a team while building strong relationships.
Multi-tasking Master: You're great at juggling multiple tasks and processes at once.
Detail-Oriented: You catch the small stuff and never let things slip through the cracks.
Manufacturing Metrics Know-How: You're comfortable with manufacturing metrics (OEE, KPIs) and use them to drive performance.
Lean and Green: You have a solid understanding of lean manufacturing and always look for ways to improve.
Tech-Savvy: You're familiar with packaging equipment and have a solid technical understanding.
The Perfect Fit: Previous experience in a packaging production or manufacturing environment.
Leadership skills that bring out the best in your team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a production setting.
Problem-solving expertise with a focus on continuous improvement.
