About the Role Level: 6 Department: Distribution Location: Homebased, United Kingdom Contract Type: Permanent Regulated/Non-Regulated: Non-Regulated As a member of the Quilter Financial Planning Network Leadership team, you will set the overall direction and solution design for the Mortgage and Protection (M&P) propositions and sales targets for Mortgage Network channel: Build a market leading proposition for products and related services.
Serve customers by meeting their needs through a segmented advice-based proposition.
Ensure good customer outcomes are central to propositional development.
Deliver sales target across the Mortgage Network in line with the sales plan.
Support to drive mortgage and protection activity across all sale channels within Quilter Financial Planning.
Ensure the appropriate risk and governance framework is embedded across your team and developed in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.
Accountable for the performance of the M&P propositions, including gross margins and gross revenue across all sales channels.
Set the direction and development of the Mortgage Network channel and manage key initiatives in order to achieve the agreed annual sales targets for your team.
Accountable for designing and delivering the roadmap of change and developments for the M&P propositions.
Building personal relationships with key stakeholders (advisory firms, advisers and their employees) to build sales, retention and advocacy.
Responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with leading adviser firms within the Mortgage Network channel.
Continue to raise the profile of the Mortgage and Protection proposition and network externally by working in partnership with the Quilter PR team and building relationships with industry trade press contacts.
Work with industry trade bodies to influence market and regulation changes, supporting Quilter advisers and the wider distribution space.
Contribute to the design and delivery of the Quilter Financial Planning strategic initiatives.
Lead on all aspects of the M&P propositions including provider and service supplier selection, due diligence, relationship management, and commercial negotiations.
Accountable for the promotion of the M&P propositions, supporting the sales channels to develop businesses and individuals through technical leadership.
Collaborate with colleagues in developing processes, technology and operational service that deliver the M&P proposition in the most effective way to advisers and one that delivers good customer outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues to maximise new business development opportunities.
Ensure the propositions works compliantly, in partnership with Risk and Compliance.
Support a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement, placing the customer experience front and centre of the propositions.
Support the commercial management of suppliers to maximise efficiency and service delivery.
Leverage Operations and other Distribution colleagues effectively to enhance sales.
Develop a strong sense of team and actively look for opportunities for cross collaboration within teams.
Lead, manage, motivate Mortgage Network works compliantly and in partnership with all other functions across the Quilter Group including Risk and Compliance.

Consumer Duty This role will directly impact good customer outcomes by ensuring we have a Mortgage and Protection proposition that meets the needs of our defined target market, and ensure it delivers value.
Working with firms within the Mortgage Network channel to ensure they adhere to the Consumer Duty framework requirements and are evidencing good consumer outcomes and providing value.
About You To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of regulatory requirements relating to the provision of good customer outcomes, and the obligations for providing advice and servicing in an FCA regulated advisory business.
You will need demonstrable experience of working in a Distribution environment and have solid knowledge of requirements and best advice practice in the area of mortgage and protection.
You will be efficient in managing and influencing Director level stakeholders and able to be flexible and change within an ever-evolving business.
As a strong leader you will need to be able to support a team who will be called upon to support many Policy, Regulatory and Proposition changes and be forward thinking in our drive for new solutions and competitive advantage.
