Procurement Specialist

Details of the offer

The Legal Specialist role is pivotal in ensuring the procurement activities are supported by optimal contractual terms, collaborating extensively within the firm to achieve this.
These specialists serve as in-house legal counsel, tasked with reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial supplier agreements, working in close coordination with the Office of the General Counsel, Information Security, and other key stakeholders within the firm.
As AG is expanding globally, handling both local and international contracts and managing associated risks are essential aspects of this role, marking an exciting phase for new joiners to contribute to the team's strategic direction and service delivery.
The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including drafting and negotiating high-value, risky agreements such as outsourcing and IT contracts, as well as handling lower-value agreements like consultancy and non-disclosure agreements.
The Legal Specialist is also responsible for conducting due diligence on suppliers, advising on commercial and legal aspects of contracts, and amending contracts as per changing needs.
Additionally, the role involves training the Procurement team on new legislation, developing contract templates, and ensuring compliance with internal risk management processes.
Candidates for this role are expected to have a legal qualification, significant experience in commercial contracts, and a strong understanding of data protection, intellectual property, and IR35.
Key skills include strong drafting and negotiation capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate complex contractual implications effectively.
The role demands resilience, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently.
We prides ourself on fostering a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment, valuing diversity and encouraging applicants from varied backgrounds.
The firm is committed to delivering technical excellence and insightful solutions to its clients, driven by a culture of improvement, growth, and collaboration.
