Our client, an award-winning UK Tech Solutions firm based in Bristol, is looking to recruit an Indirect/IT Procurement Manager to join their greenfield procurement function.
This is a fantastic career development opportunity for an individual with Indirect procurement experience to join a fast paced, PE backed organisation with significant growth appetite.Role:We are searching for a skilled Indirects/IT Procurement professional who has broad experience buying across IT and non-IT categories.
The procurement department is going through a period of change, moving from tactical and reactive buying to supporting the business in achieving their future objectives and implementing strategic category buying plans.
The role will have 3 direct reports and will be responsible for the development and upskilling of the team as well as working with all levels of stakeholders across the business.Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day management of the procurement teamApplication and ongoing enhancement of the procurement policy to align with best practice developments.Management of contracts in line with ESG principles ensuring best practice is adopted.Delivering sustainable savings across the supply base.Working collaboratively with business leaders to establish supplier plans that enable the delivery of efficiency / transformation programmes.Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.Assist the delivery of a category management model with appropriate controls.Experience:Demonstrable experience of Indirect and/or IT Procurement, gained in a similar fast paced PE backed environment.Proven experience in managing lean procurement teams.Confident communicator with an engaging personality - capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across all business unitsAn enquiring nature with a desire to meet leftfield challenges head on.Ideally Degree & MCIPS qualifiedThis is a permanent role that would suit candidates with stable backgrounds looking to align career growth within the organisation.
