Job Purpose : The Procurement team are responsible for leveraging value and spend with suppliers (with a focus on non-inventory services) and ensuring items are procured in compliance with the business requirements.
Responsible for negotiating and achieving favourable terms for short and long-term contracts with suppliers, ensuring regulatory/ethical compliance, supporting business and financial objectives and providing leadership in line with KKIs strategy on environmental stewardship Key Responsibilities: Develop and improve procurement analytics Maintain and update monthly reports Identify errors in spend data and work with Finance Dept to rectify Maintain and update Procurement Function processes and procedures Participate in / Lead low risk procurement projects from sourcing through to implementation Participate in sourcing projects (RFP) Engage with existing suppliers in support of Contract/relationship management Responsible for ensuring own activities are consistent with corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, compliance frameworks and relevant local legislation Position Requirements: Studying for a bachelors degree (preferably a science or business-based subject) Numerate MS Excel skills Fluent English (written and spoken) Kyowa Kirin International is an equal opportunities employer.
