Job Description Establish and manage procurement governance frameworksSupport the Category Managers with Audit & Governance responsibilities and future audits Monitor procurement processes to ensure compliance with regulationsDevelop and execute procurement strategiesOversee tendering and contract management processesTrain and guide procurement staff on governance processesCollaborate with other departments to improve procurement policiesPrepare procurement reports and presentations for senior managementPromote a culture of continuous improvement in procurement practices The Successful Applicant A successful Procurement Governance Manager should have:
Ideally be CIPS Level 4 or higher Experience in the public sector, preferably within the NHSExcellent understanding of procurement regulations and standards including the new Procurement ActStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite What's on Offer Salary range of £49,500 to £55,000 per yearPotential for a 10% annual bonusExcellent career progression opportunities within the public sectorComprehensive training and development programsA collaborative and supportive work environmentOpportunity to contribute to the improvement of NHS procurement practices
