The Role
We're hiring a Procurement Director to help our customers transform their SaaS buying and renewals, driving direct cost savings & efficiencies. You will be the global leader for Vertice's EMEA procurement service, building a foundation of trust and robust action plans with key customers in the EMEA region.
We need an exceptional leader with the shared language and gravitas to work with finance & procurement Execs. Crucially though, this suits someone versatile with an owner's mindset.
Responsibilities: Leadership & Vision: Develop and communicate a global Procurement vision and strategySet and track team & individual performance against regional procurement goalsInspire and develop a high-performance procurement team Customer-Centricity: Develop personalised procurement strategies for major accountsCoach teams to identify and pursue high-impact procurement opportunitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to improve customer journey satisfactionDevelop specific procurement playbooks to keep consistency at scale Sourcing & Supplier Management: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans and negotiate complex SaaS dealsManage key SaaS partner relationships, particularly for our largest spend areasImplement sourcing strategies, balancing innovation and best practiceLead cross-functional teams to implement effective SRM strategies Requirements: Based in our London office, 3 days a weekLanguage skills - German, Spanish or French preferableProfessional background in Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, Procurement, Vendor Management, or a related discipline in ConsultingStrong understanding of the SaaS business model and knowledge of the ecosystemPassionate about the value of great customer service - you seek and have consistently achieved extraordinary results as part of a high energy and dynamic team for mid-sized customersYou are a clear, confident and compelling communicator - in writing, in conversation and in front of customersSuperb listening skills and the ability to dig deeper to uncover the customer's true objectivesYou are an expert project manager who can manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure all key objectives and timelines are metDemonstrated ability to conduct compelling presentations to senior customer stakeholders Why join Vertice?
