Role: Procurement Category Manager: Energy / Engineering Location: Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station, Nottingham or Birmingham Notes: Hybrid working - onsite 2/3 days per week Duration: 12 Months The diverse procurement team comprises 140 professionals from 28 different nationalities, spanning across four countries: the UK, Germany, Netherlands, and Sweden.
Together, they manage an annual spend of 1.5 billion euros, strategically sourcing products and services across various categories.
Your responsibilities You will be part of the Procurement Solutions team which focusses on ensuring best value-for-money procurement and maximizing business and project value for our day-to-day business operations.
You will have overall sourcing responsibility for specific tender strategies, this includes supplier invitation & selection, negotiation, and implementation of supplier contracts.
Actively manage business stakeholders across all operations, locally and internationally Have close collaboration with the other Procurement functions; Business Solutions, Performance & Culture, and Digitalisation teams.
Perform day to day tasks in the relevant systems & tools; SAP, SAP Ariba and Ivalua eSourcing Actively manage Uniper suppliers ensuring competitive contracts and reliable supplies Manage Contracts & Claims where required.
