As a full-time employee based in Reading, United Kingdom, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in electrical engineering while working onsite at various project locations.
Role Overview Lead and oversee all aspects of electrical engineering projects, including design, installation, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints.
Utilize design software and conduct circuit analysis to develop efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and industry standards.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any concerns.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering.
Skills & Qualifications Extensive experience in EPC projects, preferably in the renewable energy or chemicals sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Proficiency in project management and ability to lead a team.
Expertise in design software and circuit analysis.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to think critically.
Familiarity with relevant safety and industry standards.
Ability to work onsite at project locations as needed.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Professional certification in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
