GTS is again pleased to be recruiting for one of our key clients who provide and are at the forefront of providing advanced security including CCTV and access control solutions that empower businesses to protect their people, assets, and facilities.
I am seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team and play a critical role in shaping the security solutions they provide to their clients.
The Role As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will serve as the technical expert and trusted advisor to clients, working closely with the sales team to design and present tailored security solutions.
Your expertise will be key to demonstrating the value of their CCTV and access control systems, ensuring that their customers receive the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Technical Consultation : Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, conducting site surveys and assessments to recommend optimal CCTV and access control solutions.
Solution Design : Create detailed system designs, including equipment selection, layout, and integration plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Product Demonstrations : Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of their solutions.
Proposal Development : Prepare technical proposals, including system architecture, specifications, and cost estimates, to support the sales process.
Customer Support : Provide pre-sales technical support to address customer inquiries, ensuring their confidence in their solutions.
Market Knowledge : Stay updated on the latest trends, products, and technologies in the CCTV and access control industry to provide innovative solutions.
Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, operations, and support, to ensure seamless project handovers and implementation.
What You'll Bring Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical engineering role within the CCTV, access control, or security systems industry.
Strong knowledge of security products, including, visitor management, IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, access control panels, software, and integration techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in designing and configuring security systems using CAD or similar design tools is a plus.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Axis, Milestone, Genetec, or equivalent) are desirable.
