Or are you a Commercial Manager that has operated in a Pre-Construction capacity?Our client are a Tier 1 Main Contractor with multiple regional offices around the country.
They operate within a variety of business sectors including; Commercial, Education, M.O.J, M.O.D, Prison Service and deliver New Build & Refurbishment projects ranging up to the value of £150 million.I am currently partnered with their South Midlands region, who have 2 regional offices located Gloucestershire and Oxford.
They currently enjoy a combined turnover of £80 million and have a solid and secure order book going forward.
The combined region is looking for a Pre-Construction Commercial Manager to work closely within the work winning department.
The ideal candidate will come from a Commercial background with pre-construction experience or potentially cost planning.About You:Previous substantial commercial management experience with a QS or estimation background.Excellent people skills with the ability to influence and persuadeStrong experience of NEC contractsGood communication and customer facing skillsA good understanding of the construction industryExperience of winning and managing pre-construction projects About your experience:Reviewing and negotiating construction contracts at pre-construction stageIdentifying and addressing commercial risks in contractsEnsuring warranties and bonds are in place to maintain cashflowNegotiating terms to maximise income and to ensure favourable contract positionsWorking and liaising with experienced estimation and sales teamsDeveloping key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsWorking closely with internal departments, providing practical legal support, to ensure successful, profitable work is won.What's on Offer:•Competitive Salary of £95,000 •Company Car or Car Allowance•Company Pension •Healthcare•25 days holiday + Bank Holidays•Progression & GrowthIf you're interested in the role or have any further questions, please contact Hardev Singh at Kenton Black in the Birmingham office.
