This is an excellent opportunity and key hire for the group's Nuclear and Infrastructure division, working for a business which prides itself on quality and innovation, with unrivalled expertise in critical infrastructure, major projects and emerging markets.
As Pre-Construction Commercial Manager you will take full responsibility for the delivery of pre-construction commercials on high value and critical projects, building key relationships with a range of high-profile clients which service the defence, nuclear, and energy sectors.
The Pre-Construction Commercial Manager will be responsible for: Reviewing and negotiating construction contracts at pre-construction stage Identifying and addressing commercial risks in contracts Ensuring warranties and bonds are in place to maintain cashflow Negotiating terms to maximise income and to ensure favourable contract positions Working and liaising with experienced estimation and sales teams Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Working closely with internal departments, providing practical legal support, to ensure successful, profitable work is won.
The Pre-Construction Commercial Manager will need: Previous substantial commercial management experience with a QS or estimation background.
