Practice Nurse

Job summary Fern House Surgery in Witham, are seeking an experienced all-round practice nurse to join their busy practice on a part-time basis.
Working as a member of the multidisciplinary team, the successful individual will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the entitled patient population and the implement processes for the management of patients with long-term conditions.
Main duties of the job Cervical cytology.
Childhood and adult immunisations.
Administer travel vaccinations.
Provide wound care.
Contraception.
Infection control.
Chronic disease management.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Registered Nurse (NMC).
Experience Essential Experience of working within a primary care environment.
Experience of infection control measures.
Sound clinical knowledge.
Knowledge of SystmOne is desirable although full training will be given.
