Practice Nurse

Job summary This is a rare opportunity for a practice nurse to join a friendly and strong rural practice located in Great Bentley, near Colchester.
This is a part-time vacancy for approximately 20 hours per week and the successful applicant will ideally be required to work all day on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday morning.
They will also be required to be included in the Saturday rota to cover either a morning or afternoon session of extended hours on a 1 in 5 basis.
We are looking for a practice nurse, ideally experienced in the management of diabetes, or who is willing to expand their knowledge to include diabetes management.
Main duties of the job Warfarin monitoring.
Wound care.
Vaccinations and immunisations.
Travel health (NHS only).
Cervical screening.
Other treatment duties.
