Job summary Experienced Practice NurseThe Alma RoadSurgery Romsey has a vacancy for an experienced Practice Nurse with ChronicDisease management particularly Diabetes and Asthma to join our busy andfriendly Nursing Team.
25 to 30 hoursper week (Monday, Tuesday and Fridayhowever negotiable)Pay dependant onexperience.The roleincludes long term condition reviews (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma), Wound care,Cervical Screening, Contraception, Travel & Child Immunisations.The Alma RoadSurgery is in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Southampton and the NewForest with a list size of 15,700 patients.
We have 11 GPs,4 Practice Nurses, Respiratory Nurse Lead, 2 Healthcare Assistants and 2Phlebotomists.Staff benefitfrom a morning and afternoon coffee break, social events, birthday leave and afriendly and supportive team culture.Informal visitsto the Practice are welcomed.
