Key Responsibilities: Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach thought-provoking Politics lessons to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
Inspire Students: Foster a love for Politics and an understanding of how the subject applies to current events and societal developments.
Encourage Debate: Promote critical thinking and analytical skills through engaging classroom discussions.
Assess and Monitor Progress: Regularly assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to help them excel in their studies.
Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other teachers and staff members to support the overall success of the school.
Support School Values: Uphold the school's commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Essential Requirements: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
Experience teaching Politics to KS4 and KS5 students is preferred.
A strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Politics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for inspiring students to understand and engage with political systems and current affairs.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Hold an enhanced child work force DBS registered with the online update service , or, willing to apply for a new on through GSL Education.
