This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by providing high-quality research and advocacy in the world of landscaping.
Support the Chief Executive in developing an annual technical support plan and deliver on policy advocacy and implementation.
Conduct high-quality research on industry matters and legislation, providing thorough support and guidance to members.
Develop and facilitate workshops and seminars on various technical, standards, and policy topics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance training and technical initiatives within the landscaping industry.
Contribute to the development of business plans for policy-related research and advocacy that align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
Strategy and Planning: Create clear and achievable proposals for policy-related research initiatives.
Design and implement project timelines to ensure all delegated projects are completed within set deadlines.
Stay informed about landscaping policy issues and emerging trends to tailor support for members.
Policy & Research: Lead and manage policy projects aligned with the annual business plan and ensure robust research methodologies are employed.
Project Management: Oversee research projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Prioritize tasks effectively to maximize the quality and impact of deliverables.
A degree or relevant professional qualification, or equivalent substantial work experience is desirable.
Demonstrable experience in a similar policy-focused role is essential.
Proven history of managing technical research projects on time and within budget is crucial.
Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic about contributing to the development of policy and research within the landscaping sector.
