Job summary JOB SUMMARYTo work as an integral member of the Podiatry team working to service local guidelines To assess, diagnose, develop and implement individual treatment plans, which are discussed and agreed with patients To use specialist clinical skills to manage the more complex caseload.
To actively keep up to date with clinical and professional developments.
To provide treatment at a variety of sites, which includes community clinics, community & acute hospital and domiciliary service.
To provide treatment to adults and children To support other staff including students and podiatry assistants with their supervision and clinical development To provide specialised assessment, formulate clinical diagnosis and treatment plan as an autonomous practitioner.
To take part in clinical outcome measurements and audit Main duties of the job JOB PURPOSE To work as part of the community and acute Podiatry teams providing professional, quality planned programmes of Podiatry care to patients using specialist skills.
As part of the Podiatry team and wider trust, contribute to service development, and adhere to the Podiatry Department and Trusts policies, strategies and objectives.
You will provide excellent podiatric treatment management plans and work with the teams across both sectors to ensure seamless care is delivered.
You will have or be keen to develop a specialist interest in either MSK or Diabetes/wound care and will be keen to continue to develop and share these skills You will be based at the Jarvis centre Guildford or Haslemere community hospital and will work in a variety of locations including home visits.

This role is community based over a variety of multi chair sites, you will have the opportunity to work in all aspects of the profession inc: Wound care, MSK, Surgery.
As well as dynamic working fellow Podiatrists as well as apprentices, Therapy assistant practitioners & Podiatry assistance.
You will be supported by a team of leads within the service as well as established members of the team.
The service provides a service Monday Friday with no weekend or bank holiday working.
Essential to this role: BSc level or equivalent in Podiatry Have a drivers licence and access to a car.
