Short Description The PMO Administrator will develop and implement best practices to enable the successful delivery of a broad range of project and business change projects to stakeholders across the business.
You will directly report into PMO Director, with no line management responsibility.
Job Summary The DCS Operations Projects team are responsible for the project / programme management of various infrastructure related projects that are undertaken across Colt's estate.
The DCS Projects team strive to be the trusted centre of knowledge and excellence for data centre project management.
The people within the team are a value-add to our customers, colleagues within DCS and the wider Colt organisation, known for their punctual, creative support and 'can do' attitude.
This role sits specifically within the DCS Projects Team, which is part of the DCS Technology & Operations team.
Job Description Main Responsibilities: Support the Technology team in defining project requirements Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO Directors strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables.
Monitor Programme reporting and assist the PMO Director in reporting to Senior Management Assist in establishing frameworks and standards for Programme and Project Management Assist the Project Managers in managing schedules and ensure projects stay on track Assist with the management of risk across project phases.
Assist the Project Managers to update and maintain the Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log, and Issue Register Work with the PMO Director to aid financial reporting whilst ensuring that the programme and projects adhere to the corporate financial processes.
Deputise for the Operations PMO Analyst when required Embed project control and governance Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting and Change Management across the project portfolio Prepare regular status reporting to all levels of the business   Skills & Experience: Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies Methodical and highly organised Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders Ability to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions   This role will work alongside many areas of the business, including but not limited to: Project Management Site Operations Teams Vendor Management DCS Finance Programme Management Office Sales and Customer Solutions Service Operations IT Operations Education N/A
