RGB are delighted to be supporting one of the leading Civil Engineering and Construction firms within the South West of England.
Having gained a significant pipeline of Civil Engineering projects they are in need of an autonomous Planner to join their growing Project Management team.
Post lockdown the South West continues to attract more and more visitors, re-locators and new businesses which has meant it's never been more important to ensure that the regions transport links are maintained and serviced to support the local authorities.
As the planner, you'll oversee logistics, deploy workers, manage budgets and ensure that work is on schedule.
You'll work closely with estimators, engineers, surveyors and architects to keep projects on track and manage conflicting priorities.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have previous experience within a Planning position with the following criteria: Requirements for the role: Extensive experience of civil engineering, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor Active experience of working with a wide range of planning techniques in serving both tendering and contract delivery.
Understanding of the commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function.
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project and P6 is essential This is a great opportunity to join a company that can offer career progression and stability past a contract or phase of work.

The role would require you to be based in the office 3 days a week in Cornwall with some flexibility to work from home but someone only looking for a remote role wouldn't be suitable due to the nature of the team and projects that you would manage.
