Placement detailsIn this placement, you'll become an integral part of the Sustainable Crop Production team, gaining hands-on experience across our commercial, operational, and technical functions.
We're committed to ensuring that during your time with us, you'll gain a deep understanding of how the Sustainable Crop Production Delivery (SCPD) team operates and contributes to our sustainability goals.This placement will allow you to bridge theory and practice, equipping you with valuable experience and insights into sustainable agriculture and continuous improvement in a dynamic, real-world environment.Sustainable Crop Production Role: Technical Support, The Sustainable Crop Production Trainee role will be based at Witham St Hughs, Lincolnshire with a requirement to travel to other Frontier sites in England occasionally.
Full role training plus mentoring support will be given throughout the year from a member of the HR team.In the role, your key responsibilities will be:To analyse Natural Capital Marketplace project Data Study data related to sustainability metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.To attend Team Meetings and Cross-functional Discussions Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand how the Sustainable Crop Production Delivery (SCPD) team communicates and collaborates with other parts of the business, around sustainable crop production projects.To support SCPD Team Continuous Improvement Projects working alongside the SCPD Team you will propose actionable ideas which will enhance both operational efficiency and sustainability outcomes of the team.
To implement Continuous improvement Projects - Work with the SCPD team and other teams to implement the improvements you have identified, seeking feedback on your performance throughout the process.
To assist with administrative tasks including commercial projects, liaising with partner farms to collect data, data inputting for carbon calculators and record keeping and organisation.Personal Development Summarise and present on your progress You will present summaries of key insights and lessons learned in the SCPD team proposing improvements in both our sustainability outcomes and operational efficiency.Regularly Check in with your Line Manager and HR contact Have regular meetings to discuss your progress, gain feedback, and ensure alignment with the expectations of the role.Personal requirementsWe are looking for individuals with confidence, enthusiasm and initiative to inspire others and strive for innovation and change.
