Pipemaker / Welder About the Role: H&G Engineering is partnering with a well established sheet metal fabrication and pipe fitting company who specialise in Stainless Steel, Mild steel, Aluminium and Titanium fabrications for the Chemical, Food Process, Water treatment, Paper and Petro-Chemical industries.

Key Responsibilities: Our client based in Bury is urgently seeking a skilled Pipefitter / Welder to join their dynamic team.
Execute pipe fitting and welding tasks with precision.
Engage in mechanical fitting and maintenance work, ensuring high standards.
Fabricate parts accurately from drawings or templates.
Perform NDT and pressure testing on completed works to guarantee quality.
Unload deliveries and organise storage.
Working onsite on occasions to complete Pipefitting tasks.
Support the site team by preparing parts for welding and offering assistance as needed.
The ideal candidate: A recognised qualification or time-served trade apprenticeship in Welding .

Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
Expertise in Welding and Fabrication, with competency in Tig / Mig / Arc Welding.
Ability to interpret Engineering drawings with precision.
A strong understanding of Health and Safety practices.
A CSCS card would be ideal (but not essential) Full UK driving license.
