Join our dynamic team at a leading paper conversion company in Bollington as a Slitter Assistant , where you'll support the slitting and rewinding process that turns raw materials into precise, finished products.
Key Responsibilities: Slitting Operations : Assist in operating the slitting machinery, cutting wide rolls of material (such as paper, film, or foil) into narrower rolls using rotary or razor blades.
Rewinding : Help ensure that the newly slit materials are rewound onto smaller rolls for packaging, further processing, or shipping.
Material Handling : Support the slitting process for various materials including paper, film, foil, plastics, etc.
Quality Control : Assist in checking the quality of finished rolls, ensuring accuracy and product consistency.
About You: Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment Willing to learn machine operations and safety protocols.
Able to work efficiently on a double-day shift pattern.
