Job summary We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic pharmacy technician tojoin our great pharmacy team of two prescribing pharmacists, two pharmacy techniciansand three prescription clerks.
This position would suit a Pharmacy Techniciancurrently in a more junior role who is looking to develop their career with amove into Primary Care.
The practice already has a well established pharmacyteam who would be able to help develop your skills and offer support andguidance which will enable the right candidate to progress both personally andprofessionally.
The practice will also ensure you complete a primary careinduction training package to ensure knowledge increase and confidence whilstmoving into this role.
Main duties of the job The work will initially be administrative based with remotepatient contact.However, within time, and after undertaking theappropriate training, there may be an opportunity to develop this role tobecome more patient facing depending on the interests of the post holder.
Thepractice are keen to encourage personal skill sets and goals to encourage jobsatisfaction.Although this is a practice role you will get the opportunity towork with the wider pharmacy team within West of Waverley Primary Care Networkand Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board, with the opportunity to attendmonthly meetings.

Person Specification Experience Desirable Have a minimum of two years post graduate experience Experience of working in primary care Experience of working with GP practice systems (EMIS, Docman and AccuRx) Knowledge and Skills Essential Good communication and networking skills Good listening skills and ability to demonstrate empathy High levels of motivation and professionalism Good time keeping skills Reliable Able to work under pressure, and independently where appropriate.
