CLASS 1 DRIVER – HOSPITAL PRODUCT DELIVERY DAY SHIFT STARTING AT 06:00, NIGHT SHIFT STARTING AT 22:00 £16.00 - £19.50 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Larkhall.
Benefits As a Class 1 Driver, you will receive the following benefits: Competitive hourly rates Flexible scheduling from Sunday through Friday Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Rates of Pay: Basic: £16.00 per hour Higher Rate: £19.50 per hour (for select hours/shifts) Day-to-Day Duties Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will include but are not limited to: Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for the delivery of products to hospitals Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Essential Skills To be successful as a Class 1 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category CE Licence At least 12 months of experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes A valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Proficiency in English, both spoken and written Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Training Onsite assessment required prior to your first shift Apply Apply today by clicking below!
