Job summary GreatEccleston Health Centre is seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Technician to developand support medicines optimisation.This is anexciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to support our ClinicalPharmacist and developing Medicines Team within the PCN footprint.
With support from the Clinical Pharmacist, you will be able to workindependently and manage your own workload.
You will need excellent communication skills, able to meet targets andto be able to liaise with patients, primary care staff, community pharmacistsand other partners.

Improve prescribing practices across the Primary Care Network Undertake patient facing and support roles to ensure effective medicines use.
Provide support to GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, other clinical staff and reception teams, coordinating discharge summaries and medication reviews.
Play a central role in repeat prescribing processes.
Liaise with patients, nursing homes, carers, trusts and community pharmacies, responding to medication queries and updating medical records.Full job description available to download Person Specification Qualifications Essential Professional registration with GPhC BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) Experience of working as a qualified, registered pharmacy technician in primary care, community or hospital pharmacy Desirable Demonstrate ability to influence and persuade partners and stakeholders of the respective merits of different options, innovations, new opportunities and challenges
