Job summary Vine Medical Group is recruiting for a QOF Workflow Co-ordinator to join our QOF Team.Our QOF Team works behind the scenes playing a key role to ensure good quality care is provided to our patients, ensuring their ongoing health needs are met through the timely offering of healthcare reviews, immunisations and other services.
They contact our patients through text and email messaging, letter and also by phone, and work in line with Practice processes and protocols to provide a high-quality service.
The QOF Workflow Co-ordinator will work alongside our Medical Administrators whilst supporting the QOF Team Lead with daily workflow co-ordination and monitoring of progress.Our QOF team members possess sound administrative skills, are patient focused and have a very high level of attention to detail.
They work confidently and effectively ensuring patient care is prioritised.This is a full-time role but we can consider applicants seeking between hours.

Main duties of the job The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to monitor and administer the practice recall systems, actively inviting patients for their long-term condition reviews and other appointments as required.
They will also support the Team Lead in daily workflow co-ordination and planning, monitoring and ensure work protocols are accurate.As a member of the team, you will work both independently and collaboratively to support the smooth running of daily work tasks, prioritising and working flexibly with colleagues to meet deadlines and provide a high level of patient service through the processing of clinical information.

Job description Job responsibilities To support the QOF Team Lead with daily workflow for the Team To monitor and bring to the attention of the QOF Team Lead any changes to clinics/appointments that may be necessary and to liaise with colleagues regarding changes To support colleagues with training and keep informed of local and government updates To assist with the preparation and review of work-related protocols Maintain a good working knowledge of current QOF and recall processes and requirements Administer the patient invitation process for long-term condition reviews and other appointments as required Monitoring patient recall and recall systems Review and book weekly home visit clinics for the housebound patients Pro-actively initiate data quality improvement projects Set up and run clinical searches Ensure accurate report output Export data into Excel and interrogate Action tasks from clinical teams in respect of investigations results Regular liaison and discussion with clinical team as part of review process Accurately and efficiently process/record data on IT systems in line with practice protocols and policies Communicate with patients in a clear, effective and professional manner via text, email or by telephone Respond to incoming emails and maintain good housekeeping Ensure confidentiality and security of data at all times Person Specification Qualifications Essential GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent Desirable NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or similar Experience Essential Previous experience within an administrative role Desirable Experience of working within GP Practice Experience of organising / prioritising workloads for self and others Knowledge & Skills Essential Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Excel) Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to manage and prioritise workload High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work as an effective part of team, with a focus on communication Able to proactively identify problems and offer / develop solutions Desirable Working knowledge of EMIS / medical systems Knowledge of medical terminology
