Join our dynamic team as we are recruiting for three patient care advisors, on a full time basis for hours per week and be an essential part of our front-line service!
In this role, you'll be a crucial link between patients and the care they need, ensuring smooth and efficient practice operations.
If you're organised, compassionate, and love interacting with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Main duties of the job Be the friendly face of our practice, guiding patients to the right services.
Manage appointment bookings and provide appointment cards when necessary, ensuring patients get timely access to care.
Accept, issue, and distribute prescriptions, letters, forms, specimen bottles, and more with precision.
Address patient inquiries, resolve problems, and manage complaints with empathy and efficiency.
Inform patients about our practice procedures and help them navigate our services smoothly.
Assist new patients in the registration process, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
Provide excellent phone support, answering calls promptly and directing them as needed.
About us We are a large, semi-rural, dispensing, research and GP training Practice operating over three surgery sites (Hethersett, Cringleford and Mulbarton) just to the southwest of the fine city of Norwich.
We have a fast-growing list size of 22,000 patients and we are part of the 5-practice Ketts Oak Primary Care Network.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Clear, polite telephone manner and can communicate effectively with patients and team members.
You always respect patient privacy and handle sensitive information with care.
Experience working with the general public and can be empathetic in distressing situations.
Confidence working as part of a team and can think on your feet to solve problems.
You're proficient with IT and can manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Previous experience as a medical or healthcare receptionist is desirable..
Some flexibility is required as you may need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
But with your adaptability and positive attitude, you'll thrive in this dynamic environment.
