Job DescriptionMy client is a a main car dealershipin Salisbury and they are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor for their busy Aftersales department.
Parts Advisor: Provide excellent customer service by answering customer queries promptly and accurately, and providing advice and guidance on vehicle parts, accessories, and servicing.Identify and source vehicle parts and accessories through electronic catalogues and other sources.Maintain inventory levels by ensuring stock is correctly identified, counted, and stored, and by placing orders for replenishment.Monitor and manage backorders, ensuring timely delivery of parts and accessories to the workshop.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures at all timesParticipate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.Answer incoming phone calls, emails and other forms of communication in a timely and professional mannerSchedule appointments and maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment calendarsPrepare and process customer paperwork and invoicesProvide exceptional customer service and assistance with any customer queries or concernsCoordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience About You: Prior experience in an automotive parts department or related fieldExcellent customer service skillsBasic knowledge of vehicle components and partsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to use an electronic parts system, digital diary, and inventory management softwareStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work well in a team environmentValid driver's license Salary:£24,000 basic plus bonusHours:Mon-Fri 8 am to 5.30 pm with some Saturday mornings on a rota (8am to 12.30pm).
