Play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors to the gallery as a part-time receptionist.
White Cube was set up by Jay Jopling in 1993 as a project room for contemporary art.
The gallery has since grown into one of the most influential commercial galleries in the world, representing internationally renowned artists such as Georg Baselitz, Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Anselm Kiefer, Liu Wei, Park Seo Bo, Doris Salcedo and Jeff Wall.

Since its inception in 1993, the gallery has exhibited the work of many of the world's most highly acclaimed contemporary artists.
This position requires a proactive individual to manage a variety of front-of-house duties, ensuring smooth daily operations.
You will work closely with the Office and Front of House Manager, as well as other teams, to support gallery events, meetings, and client interactions.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for contemporary art.
Key responsibilities Prepare the gallery for opening each day, including turning on lights and activating any film or sound exhibits per instructions.
Answer and transfer calls promptly, ensuring each inquiry reaches the correct team member.
Greet visitors, artists, and clients, notifying the Sales team of client visits.
Keep the reception area, cupboard, and gallery spaces neat and presentable.
Book meeting rooms, assist with gallery events, and prepare rooms for client meetings with water, coffee, and other needs.
Receive and distribute incoming post and deliveries, arrange couriers as needed, and ensure the timely booking of taxis for clients or directors.
Assist in training new members of the Reception team.
Monitor and order office supplies and kitchen stock as needed.
Issue purchase orders in line with company procedures Check that cleaning staff fulfil their responsibilities and report any repair, or redecoration needs to the Senior Operations Manager.
Knowledge, skills and experience Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanour.
Flexibility to cover shifts on short notice, when necessary, if available.
A genuine interest in the art world and familiarity with contemporary artists is a plus.
