Manpower are currently seeking an interim Packaging Specification Technologist, to work with our global FMCG client division, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced Scientific FMCG environment.
The position is based in the Knowledge Quarter in Liverpool City Centre (L3), accessible by train, bus and car.
This is a full-time temporary role until March 2025, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Compensation for this role is competitive, paying between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
Your Role & Responsibilities The purpose of this role will be to support the development of packaging for new and existing products and create robust packaging specifications (primary, secondary and tertiary) to hand over to our manufacturing partners.
Role Accountabilities Creation of packaging specifications in our Product Lifecycle management system Liaise closely with our supply chain and artwork teams to ensure that the correct codes are applied Quality checking of existing specifications Support data analysis for environmental reporting Your Attributes Existing right to work in UK, ability to work in English language.
Project Management experience.
Experience of packaging specifications writing.
Experience of working in partnership with x-functional partners is beneficial, especially Supply Chain and Quality.
You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated with good verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and computer literacy is a must for this role.
