Specsavers Gloucester are excited to announce that we are looking to appoint a new Optometry Director. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent leadership skills to join an established team and lead from the front to drive growth and get the team behind new ideas.
Gloucester is an area that is being heavily invested in by the local council and with that, come new customer and demographic opportunities. With the addition of restaurants, entertainment venues and a new hotel on the doorstep, there's going to be an increased footfall to the store in the coming years. There's also a new University Campus that's just opened on the doorstep!
The store itself benefits from 7 test rooms, 1 dedicated hear care room with booth, an onsite lab for inhouse glazing and an established team. This is one of Specsavers larger stores and therefore has a large retail and Optics team in place.
There's an exciting opportunity here to really shape and develop this Optics team and take them on the journey with you to help Gloucester perform to its highest potential. You'll need to be self-motivated, ambitious and have a true entrepreneurial spirit for this one. You'll be supported by the current Retail Director and the Specsavers wider support team on your journey. Here's what is available for the incoming Optometry Director:
