Optical Engineers

This is an exciting opportunity for an Optical Design Engineer to join the the site in Devon of an industry-leading organisation, working in the R&D team for fibre optical applications.
This Optical Engineer is expected to design and develop fibre-optic components, modules and sub-systems.
More specifically high power fibre lasers and amplifiers.
Requirements: A PhD in Engineering or Physics Experience in fibre optics, high-power fibre lasers Experience in design and development of fibre-optic transmission systems Ideal candidate will have worked on the development of high-power fibre amplifiers.
Experience with simulation tools, eg.
Zemax, MATLAB, COMSOL or similar Ability to relocate to Devon area to be onsite with team If you have experience in the above, please make this clear in your CV.
