Support Care Home Manager We are seeking a dedicated and experienced senior Care Home Manager to oversee care homes based in Suffolk.
In this role, you will ensure regulatory compliance, implement policies and procedures, and provide mentorship to staff, ensuring outstanding care for our residents.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide effective leadership and management by recruiting and training key personnel to fulfill their roles.
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture aligned with our vision and values.
Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, promoting a supportive work environment.
Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to meet financial targets.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Implement action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks.
Enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents.
Evaluate care delivery processes and outcomes, making improvements as necessary to ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.
Address and resolve any concerns in a timely manner.
Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes.
Skills and Attributes: NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
Proven experience managing a care home or similar healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry.
Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environments for elderly residents.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
