Right now we are looking to find our next Operations Director to join our Ops Regional team, The job role would suit a Cluster General Manager who would like to step up and grow his/her career.
Preferably you will be located in London, as the position requires 4 days per week running our operations in London with a biweekly ( every 2 weeks) travel to our aparthotels in Manchester and Glasgow.
In London we have aparthotel in fantastic locations such St Paul's, Hyde Park, Bankside, Mayfair and Marylebone.
Summary of Position: The Operations Director will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of all Native Places properties, delivering outstanding service, maintaining safety standards, and supporting business growth.
This role involves leadership of property teams, collaboration with cross-functional departments, and a focus on operational excellence.
Its ideal for an experienced hospitality leader with strong strategic, operational, and people management skills.
The Operations Director will report to the Company CEO.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Property Operations Management : Lead day-to-day operations across all properties, ensuring optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
Service Quality Improvement : Maintain high service standards, identifying opportunities for enhancement and ensuring consistency across locations.
Health & Safety Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
Team Leadership : Mentor and support GMs and operation staff, fostering collaboration across teams and departments.
Budget & Cost Management: Develop and manage property budgets, monitoring costs while maintaining quality.
Working closely with Finance to ensure cost are monitored and well controlled.
Performance Evaluation : Track property KPIs and prepare reports for senior management to drive improvements.
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing operations in large hotels or aparthotels.
Extensive knowledge of hotel departments, food & beverage, and property management.
Proven success in leading teams and implementing change in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and operational controls.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Health & Safety Responsibilities: Understand your role and responsibilities in terms of Health & Safety Policy.
To be fully aware of and adhere to the health and safety regulations concerning your employment and promote a safe environment for yourself, your colleagues and our guests.
To be aware of the departmental risk assessments and their importance in accident/incident prevention.
To discuss with managers any reviews, especially after an accident has occurred.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, liquor licensing, disability, and employment laws.
