We have been an established Personal Lines MGA for many years, focusing on providing niche Property and Motor propositions for our brokers and customers.
We are now recruiting for an Operational Underwriter to support our team of experienced Underwriters.

About the Role You will be the primary point of contact for underwriting referrals for complex Household quotations, ensuring appropriate terms are applied whilst complying with our underwriting guidelines and binder limits.
As part of the Underwriting Team, you will work closely with our Pricing and Claims teams as well as building strong relationships with our Broker and Insurer partners.
Working collaboratively within the underwriting team, to ensure workflow is managed to meet with the business service standards.
As well as new business and renewal quotations, you would be required to work on claims queries and potential policy voidance cases as well as offering underwriting input to our complaints process.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our newly formed MGA at the start of our journey, joining our small team of experienced underwriters.
What we are looking from you Fantastic telephone manner, with a desire to build strong working relationships Ability to work with stakeholders who will demand excellent service At least 2 years' experience working in a Personal Lines MGA or Home Underwriting role Experienced underwriter who has worked on non standard property risks, including handling policy voidance cases and claims queries Self-motivated and able to work under pressure We are a growing business that are focused on developing our team from within and the opportunities to progress within our company are vast.
