Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) & The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT) Integrated Supplies & Procurement Department (ISPD) as an a Operational Procurement Materials Management Officer.
You will work as part of a Team to provide an efficient and reliable Materials Management Service throughout the Trust by managing ward/department stock profiles and replenishing products to agreed stock levels.
To provide an inventory management service to individual Theatres and Anaesthetic Rooms to ensure that stock levels are maintained to meet clinical requirements in accordance with agreed procedures.
You will also be responsible for requisitioning and ordering clinical products for use within Operating Theatres and Wards using current P2P systems.
You will produce and analyse trend reports in order to recommend and persuade user departments to follow lean stock holding principles.
This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
