We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Nursery Manager for our small nursery with a maximum capacity of 32 spaces.
You will work alongside the owner and be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the EYFS requirements are being upheld and implemented at all times.
We are hoping to find some who can:demonstrate a solid background in effectively managing a nursery settinghas excellent communication skills to engage with children, staff members, and parentscan maintain a positive outlook to keep the children and staff happy and build an environment where they feel secure and rewardedmonitor the condition of the facilities and equipment, liaise closely with the owner about maintenance, repairs and new resources as requiredhelp to develop and implement a strong curriculum alongside creating an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities, together with the Room Leadersensure a safe and secure environment, meeting all regulations and overseeing risk assessmentsprepare and the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendationsMinimum requirementsQualifications: full and relevant Level 3 or higher in early years and childcareExperience: minimum of 2 years as a Nursery Manager or Assistant ManagerSkills: strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a focus on high-quality childcare and attention to detailMust have a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
